The following text explains how we handle personal data obtained based on your consent or on another legal basis for personal data processing.
These principles have been prepared by Vepak, s.r.o. in order to fulfill the information obligation pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR.

2. What personal data do we process?

Based on your consent or another legal basis, we process the following data:

  • Name and surname (in the case of a sole trader, also business name, company ID, and registered office)

  • Contact details: telephone number, email address

  • Postal address

  • Billing address

3. Where do personal data come from?

Personal and contact details come from the contact form on www.vepak.cz/en
, as well as from telephone and email inquiries.

4. For what purpose do we process clients’ personal data?

We process clients’ personal data for the purpose of fulfilling concluded contracts — that is, to process orders and respond to inquiries submitted mainly through the contact form.
To fulfill the contract, we communicate using the provided contact details.
If the client has agreed to receive marketing communications, these contact details may also be used for sending such communications. The client can unsubscribe at any time.

5. Who has access to personal data?

Personal data are processed both manually and automatically and are accessible only to authorized employees of Vepak, s.r.o.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to personalize content, provide social media features, and analyze our website traffic.
We share information about your use of our website with our social media and analytics partners. These partners may combine this data with other information that you have provided to them or that they have collected as a result of your use of their services.
The website also uses Google Analytics, a tool designed for data analysis.

7. Advertising systems used

uses advertising systems such as Sklik (operated by Seznam.cz, a.s.) and Google Ads (operated by Google).
These systems allow us to present our products to visitors who have already shown interest in them through remarketing and retargeting.
They may also display our website in paid search results.

8. Data retention period

We retain personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship with the client and for the time necessary to fulfill legal obligations or until consent is withdrawn.
After this period, the data are deleted or used only to the extent that does not require further consent.

9. How do we protect your data?

We protect your data using available technical and organizational measures in accordance with the law and other relevant legal regulations. Personal data are safeguarded through security features such as encrypted communication, strong passwords, reliable antivirus protection, confidentiality agreements, and a professional approach. We are obliged to provide your data only upon request from state authorities, such as the Police of the Czech Republic or other government bodies, for the purpose of conducting inspections.

10. Client’s access to personal data

The client has the right to obtain access to their personal data from the data controller. By sending a request to obchod@vepak.cz the client can receive all information regarding the processing of their personal data and also has the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incorrect data. The client has the right to request the erasure of data once the retention period necessary to fulfill the purpose of the contract has expired, as well as the right to restrict processing or object if they believe that the data processing is not in compliance with the GDPR.
